Grillin’ With The Guys.
Summer is the best time of year for me, Grillin Time! I love when the weather warms up and I can uncover my grill for the summer season. For me there is nothing better than sipping on an ice-cold porter will I am grillin’ a nice juicy steak. I know you are thinking what could he have to talk about with essential oils and grillin’, you would be surprised.
One great way to use it is for a marinade. There are lots of recipes and one of my favorites is the Sweet and Sour Marinade.
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 8 drops of Wild Orange essential oil
Remember when marinating shrimp, fish, chicken, or tender meats to do for 2 hours or less. On your meats that are a bit tougher, it can be from 4 hours to overnight. Don’t forget to refrigerate your meat while it marinates.
